Who is Justin De Dios? Meet the SB19 Star Who Plays Ec’naad in Sang’gre

SB19’s Justin De Dios surprised fans with his first appearance as Ec’naad in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre. His role instantly captured the hearts of Encantadiks across the Philippines.

In the episode, Ec’naad appeared as a warrior and the gatekeeper of Devas. He stopped Pirena (Glaiza De Castro), Terra (Bianca Umali), Flamarra (Faith Da Silva), Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), and Deia (Angel Guardian) from entering the heavenly realm.

Soon after the episode aired, Justin dominated social media. On X (formerly Twitter), he trended with two spots on the list, proving his impact both as an idol and as an actor.

Justin De Dios as Part of SB19

Justin De Dios debuted with SB19 in 2018. He joined Pablo, Stell, Ken, and Josh as the group’s youngest member and sub-vocalist.

But Justin’s role goes beyond singing. He is also the creative director of SB19. He handles the group’s artistic concepts, from music videos to live shows.

Justin also directed the creative vision for his own solo projects and even took charge of Cup of Joe’s hit music video “Misteryoso.”

A Multimedia Arts Graduate

Balancing school and training was never easy, but Justin did it. In 2018, he graduated from De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde with a degree in AB Multimedia Arts.

He finished with Honorable Mention, a big achievement while preparing for SB19’s debut.

In 2024, he proudly represented his alma mater when he performed at the 100th NCAA opening ceremony alongside SB19.

Justin’s Solo Music Career

Justin stepped into solo music in February 2024 with his debut single “Surreal.” Fans praised both the song and its stunning music video.

In July 2024, he released another single, “Kaibigan.” His visuals and music proved that he is more than just a group member.

In 2025, Justin teamed up with Bicolana singer Dwta for the emotional track “Sampung mga Daliri.”
