Who is Aurora Culpo's Fiance? Olivia Culpo's Older Sister Announces Engagement to Zac

Aurora Culpo, the older sister of actress Olivia Culpo, has found love again and is officially engaged.

On Wednesday, Oct. 1, Aurora, 36, revealed her engagement to boyfriend Zac through a joint Instagram post.

“Said YES in the city of love!! 🇫🇷❤️💍,” she captioned the Paris proposal.

The post opened with a photo of Aurora smiling as she looked down at a boxed ring while Zac knelt on one knee in an outdoor park during the day. The mother of two shares children Remi, 7, and Solei, 5, with ex-husband Michael Bortone.

Additional photos captured the newly engaged couple embracing after Aurora accepted Zac’s proposal. Aurora’s sisters were quick to share their excitement. Olivia Culpo, who married San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey in 2024, commented, “AHHHHHHHHH!!!” while 28-year-old Sophia Culpo added, “🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹.”

The 33-year-old Next Gen Chef host also reposted one of the engagement pictures on her Instagram Story, writing, “Our family is growing!”

Just two days before the proposal, Aurora and Zac had attended a wedding in Italy. “Here for the amore,” she wrote in an Instagram carousel, adding a red heart and Italian flag emoji. In another post from Tuscany, she wrote, “Celebrating love in Tuscany.”

Last October, Aurora spoke to PEOPLE about life as a single woman and her hopes for the future. “I’m excited to meet someone eventually. Right now, I’m kind of dating myself and seeing what’s going to happen,” she said at the time.

“I feel like I’ve gone through a lot in the dating world. I’ve seen my sisters go through things. I’ve gone through breakups, divorces, public stuff, not public stuff. There’s really nowhere to go but up,” she added.

Aurora also highlighted the importance of therapy, saying it provides “a wide perspective.”

“There’s so many people in the world, and there’s so many options, you don’t need to choose another version of the same relationship every time,” she explained.

She emphasized maintaining a positive outlook on love, telling PEOPLE: “I think if you think that love doesn’t exist, and you’re never going to meet somebody, and you’re too old, or you’re this or that, then that’s exactly what’s going to happen for you. And then, you see the ladies at the nursing homes with three boyfriends that are living their best life.”
