Security Forces Leave 14 Fitna-e-Hindustan Militants Dead in Khuzdar
Khuzdar: Security forces conducted a major intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the mountainous region of Khuzdar, successfully eliminating at least 14 terrorists affiliated with the banned group Fitna-e-Hindustan, security sources confirmed on Saturday.
According to initial reports, the operation was launched after intelligence agencies traced the movement of militants involved in recent attacks targeting security convoys and infrastructure in southern Balochistan. The forces surrounded the hideout and engaged the militants in a fierce exchange of fire that lasted several hours.
Security sources said that over 20 terrorists were also injured during the encounter, many of whom managed to flee into nearby rugged terrain. A heavy cache of weapons, ammunition, and communication equipment was recovered from the site.
The injured terrorists are being pursued through follow-up operations in adjoining areas, while search and clearance operations are underway to secure the remaining pockets.
Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to eliminating all militant networks operating in Balochistan and along the country’s western border.
