Amina Malik Opens Up About Her Three Heartbreaking Miscarriages and Facing Social Pressure

Actress and TV host Amina Malik made a heartfelt revelation on the morning show Subh Samaa Ka Sath, sharing her painful experience of losing three pregnancies and how the birth of her younger daughter transformed her outlook on life and family.

Speaking to host Madeha Naqvi, Amina recounted suffering three consecutive pregnancy losses, including delivering stillborn babies. She called it “the most painful time of my life,” describing the loss of a seven-month-old, a five-month-old, and another tragic episode in 2020.

The actress revealed she had one daughter before the miscarriages, and her younger daughter was born afterward, following which she decided not to try for more children. Amina also spoke about the emotional toll of these losses and the social pressure to have more kids. She said firmly that she no longer tolerates intrusive comments, telling viewers, “If they asked for children now, I would slap them.”

Amina shared that she has two daughters and follows a strict approach to parenting. She avoids giving them processed foods and insists that guests serve homemade meals instead of ordering pizza or fast food.

She also emphasized her personal values, saying she cannot tolerate liars and prefers honest, straightforward relationships in her life.

Discussing mental health, Amina urged people to seek help from professionals rather than relying solely on friends or relatives, warning that casual venting can sometimes worsen the situation.

She advised fellow actresses to save and invest their earnings, and called on producers to offer more opportunities to women supporting families. Amina also revealed her plans to venture into real estate, though she did not share further details.

Amina Malik is a Pakistani model, television actor, and host, known for her performances in dramas such as Mera Dil Mera Dushman, Mayi Ri, Laapata, Khaas, Bebaak, Soteli Mamta, Deewar e Shab, and Ma Sadkey. She recently earned praise for her role in ARY Digital’s hit series Sher.

Married at age 20, Amina is the mother of two grown daughters. Her television appearances include morning shows on Dawn News and her recent participation in Samaa TV’s Subh Ka Samaa.
