Relationships with teenage boys are complex.”

The singer revealed that one of her sons has spent only 45 minutes with her over the past five years, while she has seen the other just four times in the same period. Despite the distance, Spears emphasized that her love for her children remains unwavering. She added that she intends to establish firm boundaries by communicating her availability clearly.

“I have felt demonized by this situation and have always asked and almost begged for them to be a part of my life,” Spears continued. “Sadly, they have always witnessed the lack of respect shown by my ex-father to me. They need to take responsibility for themselves.” She further stated that years of public scrutiny and personal pain have left her feeling defeated, though she continues to seek peace and privacy.

Addressing negative media portrayals, Spears reiterated that she has been living a quiet, private life over the last five years. “I am actually a pretty intelligent woman who has been trying to live a sacred and private life the past 5 years,” she wrote (via Yahoo). “I speak on this because I have had enough, and any real woman would do the same.”

Spears’ remarks come as Kevin Federline prepares to release his memoir, You Thought You Knew, which delves into his relationship with Spears and their sons.
