The rumors began circulating after two popular YouTube bloggers discussed the alleged arrest in their livestreams on Wednesday. While several details have emerged online, it remains unclear whether the reports are legitimate, as official confirmation has not yet been released.

YouTubers Debate the Authenticity of the Alleged Arrest

The first YouTuber to discuss the claim, The Official Tyesse Report, stated that he initially thought the rumors were false after investigating. Tyesse said he received a mugshot from 2024, which led him to believe that someone might be altering images to harm Riddick’s reputation.

He commented: “They probably cut the booking thing in half and use somebody else’s charges. That is diabolical.”

However, later in the same livestream, Tyesse appeared to receive confirmation from unnamed sources, saying, “Oh my god. It is true.”

Another content creator, The Official King Jives Show, shared screenshots of alleged jail records that appeared to show Patrick Riddick booked into the Norfolk City Jail in Virginia on October 20, 2025.

According to those alleged records, Riddick was charged with rape and sodomy by force or victim helplessness, and the supposed incident took place on September 18, 2025. King Jives also claimed the alleged victim was a Norfolk State University student, though these claims remain unverified.

An inmate search on the Norfolk Sheriff’s official website reportedly shows a record under Patrick’s name. However, the same mugshot has appeared in a 2024 arrest record on another website called Virginia Arrests, where Riddick was allegedly charged with strangulation and simple assault against a family member.

Because the same photo is linked to both the 2024 and 2025 incidents, it remains unclear whether the recent arrest reports are real or fabricated. Neither Patrick Riddick nor his representatives have issued a public statement at this time.

Born and raised in Virginia, he studied Vocal Music at Norfolk State University, where he directed the university’s Voices of Inspiration Gospel Choir.
