Alishba Anjum, Ken Doll, and Others Slam Zahid Ahmed Over Recent Remarks On Influencers
Content Creator Alishba Anjum and her fellow influencers recently found themselves at the center of a heated online debate following actor Zahid Ahmed’s controversial statement during his appearance on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast Excuse Me.
During the discussion, Zahid Ahmed remarked that all digital media creators and social media influencers would “go to hell,” sparking outrage across the influencer community.
Responding strongly to his remarks, Alishba Anjum took to her social media accounts to criticize the actor’s comments, calling them insensitive and hypocritical. She shared images of Zahid Ahmed with various actresses, pointing out contradictions between his religious stance and professional conduct. In her post, Alishba wrote, “Talking about Islam with arms around someone else’s wife. Stage pe dance, interview mein Deen. Calling content creators jahannumi while you’re busy hugging actresses, dancing on stage, and flexing your new nose job?”

Several other influencers, including Ken Doll, Kanwal Aftab, and Zarnab Fatima, joined Alishba in condemning Zahid Ahmed’s remarks. Ken Doll commented, “If actors do the same thing, it becomes a piece of art but if digital creators do, they become Jahannumi.” Meanwhile, Zarnab Fatima questioned whether digital creators are forbidden from offering prayers, and Kanwal Aftab sarcastically asked Zahid Ahmed if he had started distributing “passes of Jannah.”
