Saba Qamar to File Lawsuit Against Journalist Naeem Hanif Over False Allegations

Renowned Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, a leading figure in the entertainment industry for the past twenty years, has decided to initiate legal proceedings against journalist Naeem Hanif following his grave accusations regarding her personal life.

During a recent podcast appearance, Naeem Hanif made remarks concerning Saba Qamar’s private affairs. He allegedly asserted that in 2003 or 2004, the actress resided in a house in Lahore provided by a man with whom she was romantically involved.

Saba Qamar has firmly rejected these claims, describing them as “completely baseless and false,” emphasizing that such statements have caused damage to her reputation. Taking to social media, she clarified, “I have never lived in Walton, and I never did what you claimed.”

The actress announced her decision to pursue legal action against Naeem Hanif for disseminating false information and tarnishing her name, concluding her message with a direct statement: “See you in court.”

Recently, Saba Qamar also faced backlash over certain remarks she made about Karachi, to which she had already issued a clarification.

Nonetheless, the allegations by Naeem Hanif constitute a separate and more serious matter, compelling the actress to resort to formal legal measures. She has reiterated that spreading false accusations is a punishable offense under the law and affirmed her determination to safeguard her name and reputation.
