Iqbal’s Teachings Inspire Pakistan to Greatness: PM Shehbaz

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the teachings of Allama Iqbal inspire the nation to change its destiny and move toward greatness.

In his message to the nation on the birth anniversary of Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal — the great thinker and poet of the East — the Prime Minister paid tribute to Iqbal’s vision and services.

He said that Allama Iqbal was a visionary poet, philosopher, and remarkable personality who not only gave Muslims of the subcontinent a sense of identity but also inspired the dream of an independent homeland.

The Prime Minister added that Iqbal’s teachings encourage the nation to work hard for progress and prosperity. Iqbal emphasized self-reliance, self-awareness, and unity. His poetry is not limited to his time — it is a timeless call for action and self-discovery.

Shehbaz Sharif said that Iqbal’s thoughts and writings have deeply influenced not only the subcontinent but the entire world. His philosophy and poetry gave new courage and determination to Muslims and laid the foundation for the creation of Pakistan.

He further stated that Allama Iqbal urged the youth to have unwavering faith and make hard work their guiding principle. His teachings continue to motivate us to shape our destiny and move on the path of greatness.

Concluding his message, the Prime Minister said that by following Iqbal’s philosophy with renewed hope and determination, the nation will work together for a united, peaceful, and prosperous Pakistan.
