Former MNA Iftikhar Ahmed Cheema Passes Away
Lahore: Former Member of National Assembly (MNA) Iftikhar Ahmed Cheema has passed away. The well-known politician, who was associated with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), had a long and distinguished political career.
According to family sources, Iftikhar Cheema had been unwell for some time. He served as MNA three times, winning elections on the PML-N ticket. His contributions to politics and public service are widely remembered.
The funeral prayer (Namaz-e-Janazah) will be offered after Asr prayer in his ancestral village, where family, friends, and political colleagues are expected to pay their respects.
Iftikhar Ahmed Cheema’s passing marks the end of a notable political journey, and he is mourned by both his family and the wider political community in Pakistan.
