Militant Reveals Shocking Details About Khawarij Terror Network

A detained militant has made major revelations about the activities of the Khawarij terrorist group, accusing its members of using religion to mislead young people and push them into violence against Pakistan’s security forces.

The militant introduced himself as Ehsanullah, son of Abdul Janan, belonging to the Mehsud tribe. He said he worked as a facilitator for three years for several militant commanders, including Commander Badri, Commander Mushtaq, Commander Grenade, and Commander Islamuddin.

According to his statement, the group carried out multiple attacks, including an assault on an armored vehicle and an operation targeting a police station in Tator. He claimed the Khawarij network brainwashed young people, convincing them to join terrorist activities against the Pakistan Army.

He further alleged that some commanders pushed recruits toward immoral and abusive practices, claiming that several leaders exploited young members for their own personal interests. He also stated that certain commanders behaved unethically with recruits.

The militant said the group falsely told its followers that Pakistan’s soldiers were non-believers, but after spending time with the group, he discovered the opposite. According to him, the Pakistan Army personnel he encountered were practicing Muslims who regularly offered prayers.

He said he himself learned how to properly pray and recite the Islamic declaration of faith while in contact with security forces — something he did not know before.

The militant appealed to the youth to support Pakistan’s security forces to help eliminate terrorism. He said that because of these extremist elements, many young people had been destroyed, misled, or used as tools for violence.

Security officials say that operations continue against groups spreading terror, hatred, and chaos in the name of religion. They emphasized that Pakistan’s forces remain committed to eliminating the Khawarij terrorist network and restoring peace in the country.
