Nadra advises parents to update children’s B-Forms
The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has advised parents to update their children’s B-forms to avoid problems during school admissions.
In a message shared on X (formerly Twitter), Nadra reminded parents that when a child turns three years old, the old B-form becomes invalid. After this age, a photo B-form is required for all official records, including school documentation.
To get the updated photo B-form, parents can either visit the nearest Nadra centre with their child or apply easily from home using the Pak-ID mobile app.
Last week, Nadra also urged citizens to collect their Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) on time after they are issued. According to the authority, CNICs that remain uncollected for three months are disposed of. After that, applicants must reapply and pay the required fee to get the card reissued.
Nadra has requested the public to stay updated with their documents to avoid any inconvenience in the future.
