Animal Reunion! Ranbir Kapoor & Triptii Dimri Reunite, Spirit Begins Production
The highly anticipated action-drama and cop thriller Spirit, starring Prabhas, has officially gone on floors following a traditional muhurat ceremony held on November 23. The launch event featured the presence of actress Triptii Dimri, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and veteran star Chiranjeevi as a special guest, marking an auspicious start to the film.
Excitement around the project increased after a report by The Daily Jagran claimed that Ranbir Kapoor—riding high on the success of Animal—may be making a cameo appearance. According to the report, Kapoor’s entry is expected at a crucial point in the movie, serving as a major “turning point in the plot.” If confirmed, this would be the first time Prabhas and Ranbir share screen space, sparking speculation that director Vanga might be laying the groundwork for a larger shared cinematic universe.
Spirit marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film casts Prabhas as a fearless police officer in what is expected to be a high-octane narrative. It also reunites Vanga with Triptii Dimri after their dynamic pairing in Animal. The supporting cast includes acclaimed actors Vivek Oberoi, Kanchana, and Prakash Raj.
Recently, the filmmakers released an audio teaser in five languages, further building anticipation. A standout moment from the teaser featured Prabhas delivering the intriguing line to a jailer: “Sir, since childhood, I have one bad habit.” The mystery behind this “bad habit” remains unrevealed, leaving fans eager for the next promotional drop—likely the official trailer or a new teaser.
