The pair, first linked in 2022, made their romance public in February 2024 and later confirmed they had tied the knot in June 2025 by posting photos from their outdoor wedding on Instagram.

The couple announced their pregnancy with a joint Instagram post, sharing a black-and-white picture-booth snapshot in which they smile while holding a sonogram. Their dog also appeared in the frame wearing a “Big Brother” shirt. The caption read: “so much to be grateful for!!!”

Krakow Reflects on Finding Love in Hope Valley

Krakow, who portrays schoolteacher Elizabeth Thornton, spoke to PEOPLE in April 2025 about how genuine relationships have formed among cast members over the years. She noted that she and others—such as Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace, who went public in 2020 and announced their engagement in 2022—found meaningful connections while filming in Jamestown, British Columbia.

“I think there’s just always been a bit of magic in Hope Valley,” Krakow said, describing the unique environment on set. She recalled moments when unexpected shifts in weather created a sense of serendipity during filming:

“Things like we’ll have a scene that’s really important that we’re supposed to film outside, and it’s been pouring all day. And then miraculously, the rain just stops, and we’re able to make it through.”

Although she acknowledged her example might not sound traditionally romantic, Krakow emphasized that the atmosphere on set fosters genuine bonds:

“And I know that’s not the most romantic illustration of what makes Hope Valley magical, but I do think there’s just something special about the show and the people involved. When you put a bunch of special people together in one place, connections are bound to be made.”
