Mufti Abdul Qavi Makes Shocking Claim About Marriage to Aishwarya Rai
Pakistani religious scholar Mufti Abdul Qavi has once again grabbed headlines with a startling claim regarding Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai. In a viral video circulating on social media, Mufti Qavi alleged that there are growing differences between Aishwarya Rai and her husband Abhishek Bachchan.
He further stated, “If this happens, within two to four months, Aishwarya Rai will send me a marriage proposal.”
When asked by the host whether marrying a non-Muslim woman is possible, Mufti Qavi cited an example: “Actress Rakhi Sawant embraced Islam and her name was changed to Fatima.” He added that he would similarly convert Aishwarya Rai to Islam and rename her Ayesha Rai.
The remarks have sparked a wide range of reactions on social media. While some users dismissed the statements as baseless and humorous, others heavily criticized Mufti Qavi for making such claims.
This is not the first time Mufti Abdul Qavi has made headlines for proposing marriage to an Indian actress. Previously, he offered to marry Rakhi Sawant, which she rejected, humorously stating, “I don’t know if Mufti Qavi has 100 wives or 900, but I alone am equal to a lakh women, and he won’t be able to handle me.”
Critics have pointed out that such statements lack any factual evidence and are often made for publicity, with little or no connection to reality.
