Sanjay Dutt ‘never had stability’ after first wife, Richa Sharma, passed away

Sanjay Dutt’s sister Priya Dutt is speaking about the death of his first wife, Richa Sharma, after their heart-breaking split.

Richa married the Khalnayak star in 1987, shortly after her Bollywood debut, and passed away in 1996 after a tough battle with cancer.

In an exclusive interview with Vicky Lalwani, Priya said that Sanjay was devastated by the loss, as he was under arrest at the time. She shared, “He has never had that stability. It was a very tragic thing… Richa… such a young age to be diagnosed with a brain tumour, and she passed away so young.

She added, “It has been particularly tough for bhaiya. It’s not about how bad we have it; I always believe that your problems seem overwhelming until you see somebody else’s. With God’s grace, at least we have been able to come out stronger from every problem. We have seen the worst and the best as well.”

Despite all the hardships, the Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. actor emerged stronger and went on to establish his name in the film industry.
