Ducky Bhai Video Goes Viral During Custody — What Questions Asked to YouTuber

Popular YouTuber Saad Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, who was arrested over the promotion of illegal gambling apps and alleged money laundering, has recently been released on bail. In a video released after his release, Ducky Bhai accused certain officials of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) of serious misconduct, including assault, harassment, blackmail, and demanding large sums of money.

Ducky Bhai specifically accused his investigation officer, Additional Director Sarfraz Chaudhry, who is currently in custody, of corruption and abuse of authority. He claimed that the officer threatened to file a case against his wife unless 6 million PKR was paid, which Ducky Bhai’s family allegedly borrowed to comply. He further stated that an additional 15 million PKR was later demanded, along with threats of filing more cases in case of resistance.

During this period, a video showing Ducky Bhai in custody, featuring Dr. Affan Qaiser, has circulated on social media. In the video, Sarfraz Chaudhry can be seen asking Ducky Bhai, “It is being said that we tortured you, did we torture you?” He adds that if Ducky Bhai feels afraid, he can step out of the room.

The release of the video has sparked widespread discussion on social media, with users raising questions about its timing and inconsistencies between statements from both sides. Social media user Rizwan Ghazali asked why the video was released now and what the purpose behind it was.

Another user, Haroon Anjum, said the video raises concerns about whether a suspect can be presented to journalists or YouTubers during interrogation. Athar Saleem highlighted contradictions, noting that Ducky Bhai had claimed in a vlog that he was tortured, garnering public sympathy, while in the custody video, he appears to confirm no torture occurred.

Some users argued that the video proves Ducky Bhai was not tortured and allegedly profited from it, asking whether any action will be taken against him for allegedly damaging the agency’s reputation with a false video.

It is important to note that Ducky Bhai was arrested on 17 August 2025 at Lahore Airport on charges related to money laundering through gambling apps. The Lahore High Court later granted him bail against a bond of 1 million PKR, and he was released on 26 November 2025.
