Maya Khan Breaks Silence on Ex-Husband Taking Her Savings

A renowned Pakistani television host and talented actress, Maya Khan gained recognition through the PTV drama Aik Muhabbat So Afsany. Her hit morning show on Samma TV also became a household favorite.

Maya Khan made her comeback in 2024 with the hit drama serial Mayi Ri. Her recent popular drama Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum also earned praise for her acting. Recently, she received acclaim for her role as Waniya in the drama series Baray Bhaiyya.

Maya Khan is also a successful businesswoman who runs her own herbal brand. She has recently authored a book and is set to launch her podcast on digital media soon.

During a recent appearance on a morning show, Maya shared the traumatic experience that left her financially devastated.

“My savings were taken from me by my ex-husband… all my money was taken by that man. I had spoken up about it everywhere and had all the proofs. I visited courts for two years, yet I couldn’t recover my hard-earned money,” Maya said.

The actress described the difficulties of attending court proceedings while being publicly recognized. “Even covering my face didn’t stop people from recognizing me. It was shocking to see myself in such a weak position,” she added.

She explained why she didn’t take her case to the media despite having evidence. “When a person is going through a traumatic experience, such things don’t come to mind.”
