Six Administrative Units Activated for Gul Plaza Rescue Efforts
Karachi: To effectively supervise the rescue operation of the Gul Plaza tragedy, the Deputy Commissioner South has formed six teams consisting of 30 officers on the orders of the Commissioner Karachi.
According to the Deputy Commissioner South, each team will include a chief, two assistant commissioners, and two supervisors. These teams will supervise the rescue operations. All teams will work in three shifts so that the rescue operation can continue uninterrupted.
The first team has been formed under the leadership of Director of Anti-Encroachment Ameer Fazal Owais, who will perform the duties of the commanding officer from 10 pm to 6 am. He will be accompanied by two assistant commissioners and two Mukhtiarkars.
The second team will be led by Deputy Commissioner South Javed Nabi Khoso, who will be in charge of operations from 6 am to 2 pm. The third team has been formed under the leadership of ADC-1 South Asma Batool Batool, who will perform the duties of the commanding officer from 2 pm to 10 pm.
The fourth team will work under the leadership of ADC One Central Asim Abbasi, who will be the commandant from 10 pm to 8 am. The fifth team will serve under the leadership of ADC One East Samiullah Sanjrani from 8 am to 4 pm.
The sixth and final team has been formed under the leadership of ADC-1 Kemari Abdul Sattar Hakro, who will perform the duties of the commanding officer from 4 pm to 12 am. According to the administration, all teams will closely monitor the ongoing rescue and relief activities after the Gul Plaza tragedy so that timely assistance can be provided to the victims.
