Pakistan Army Conducts Relief Operations for Citizens Evacuated from Tirah Amid Heavy Snowfall

TIRAH, Pakistan: The Pakistan Army is actively conducting relief and rescue operations as heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures disrupt daily life in the Tirah region. Citizens forced to evacuate their homes due to severe weather are being moved to safer areas.

Army teams are deployed along the main roads leading from Tirah. Heavy machinery is being used to clear snow and restore transportation routes. Several roads were blocked due to snow, causing significant difficulties for residents.

Rescue and Relief Efforts

During the ongoing operations, rescue teams have safely evacuated 20 people trapped in snow-covered areas. These individuals have been relocated to secure locations and provided with basic medical care.

The army has established a temporary relief camp at the Tirah Administrative Complex, equipped with 200 beds, warm blankets, food, clean water, and shelter. Special transportation arrangements are in place to ensure families reach safe areas without delays.
