UAE to resume work visa issuance for Pakistani workers soon
The UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, Salem Mohammed Salem Al Bawab Al Zaabi, has announced that work visas for Pakistani workers will be resumed soon. He said that preparations for restarting the visa process are already in progress.
The ambassador shared this update during a meeting at the UAE Embassy in Islamabad with a delegation from the Pakistan Overseas Employment Promoters Association (POEPA). The delegation was led by POEPA Chairman Syed Rehmat Ali Shah.
Other members of the delegation included POEPA Secretary General Muneer Siddique, former Chairman Syed Habib Ali Shah, Chairman’s Special Assistant Shakeel Abbasi, and Executive Member Tariq Javed. During the meeting, both sides discussed issues related to the employment of Pakistani workers in the UAE.
The UAE ambassador said that positive progress is being made and that the resumption of work visas will create new job opportunities for many Pakistanis.
He also highlighted the strong and brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE. He added that both countries have long cooperated in many areas, especially in the supply of skilled workers.
The ambassador praised Pakistani workers for their hard work and professionalism, saying they have played an important role in the UAE’s development and economy.
POEPA Chairman Syed Rehmat Ali Shah thanked the UAE ambassador for his support and stressed that Pakistani labor continues to be vital in the UAE’s construction and development sectors.
