Mahira–Fahad Graced At ‘Aag Lagy Bastii Main’ Trailer Launch Event

Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa, Pakistan’s two biggest cinematic stars, will see on big screen once again, the famous screen stars prior impressed the audience in their movie Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, again will come on the same screen together in film Aag Lagay Basti Mein

The film trailer Aag lay Basit Mein was out today at a star-studded launch event in Karachi.

At the launch event Mahira Khan exposed that, the character of her in the film is too much different as her typical role. She explained that she was trained to play a “badtamiz” (naughty/rebellious) character, to create this film is very unique experience for her Fahad Mustafa also joined her on stage, celebrating the film’s chaotic and fun-filled vibe.

The film is the mixtures of romance, comedy, and action, casting including Tabish Hashmi, Javed Sheikh, Salahuddin Tanyo, Aadi Adeal Amjad, Samra Shehzadi, along with some popular Karachi-based digital creators.

The directed by the Bilal Atif Khan, the Big Bang entertainment and Salman Iqbal Films production completed the shooting and scheduled for a nationwide release on 9 February 2026.

The reactions to the trailer is widely positive as the beginning, audience ahs impressed by its fast-paced editing, energetic toe and unexpected twist plot. Lost of fans show their excitement over seeing comedians and digital stars sharing a big screen with renowned actors.

One viewer commented that, Tabish Hashmi’s appearance promises strong entertainment value, while others predicted the film could be a box-office success with Mahira and Fahad leading the cast.

Though, some viewers shared varied review, signifying that Lollywood industry should also focus to get a chance for new faces relatively to casting always the same top celebrities.  A few viewers funnily observed that the promo exposed too much of the narrative.
