Incompetent Modi-Led India Fails to Fulfill Global Responsibilities

After crippling the Indian economy and administrative machinery, the incompetent Modi government has proven its incompetence and failure on the global stage.

According to the international news agency Reuters, the Indian government has withdrawn its offer to host the United Nations Global Environment Conference (COP33) 2028.

The Indian newspaper India Today has claimed that this decision turned out to be a U-turn because Modi had offered to host the 2028 conference at a conference held in Dubai in 2023.

This decision is not just limited to the cancellation of an event but is also a major blow to India’s reputation, as India has already missed two deadlines for submitting its national environmental targets for 2035.

Global experts in this regard predicted that withdrawing from hosting the conference raises serious questions about climate change initiatives and India’s claims to the Global South.

Pertinently, Delhi is among the most polluted cities in the world due to its air pollution and is also damaging the environment of the entire region.
