Dylan Carter 24, ‘The Voice’ Contestant, Dies in Road Accident

A participant and vocalist Dylan Carte in ‘The Voice Season 24’ lost his life at the age of 24 in a devastating road crash in South Carolina on April 25, 2026.

According to authorities, the vocalist car departed from the road in Colleton County while he was driving alone late at night and the car struck a pole and a fence before overturning, and the accident happened late Saturday night around 11 p.m.

Reportedly, Carte was wearing the seatbelt at the time of road crash, after the accident happened, he was rushed to nearby hospital, but he died due to severe impact-related injuries.

Carte’s death news announced by the Local Voice, a South Carolina non-profit organization he co-founded to benefit women battling cancer.

The organization posted on its Facebook officials and wrote ‘With heavy hearts we share the passing of Dylan Carter, co-founder of The Local Voice, talented musician, and someone who meant so much to our community, Dylan was the heart of what we do. He believed every voice matters and lived that every day. Through his music, his kindness, and his smile, he brought people together and made everyone feel seen.’

They more stated, “We are heartbroken, but find comfort knowing he is in heaven with his mother,” the message continued. “We are so grateful for Dylan, for the love he gave this community, and for the impact he leaves behind. We will carry his light forward and continue this mission in his honor.”
