Karachi Faces Intense Heat as Temperature May Reach 40°C Today

The weather in Karachi is expected to become significantly hotter today, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department. The maximum temperature in the city may rise up to 40 degrees Celsius, while the “feels-like” temperature could range between 46°C and 49°C due to high humidity levels.

The humidity in the atmosphere has been recorded at around 67%, which is further intensifying the discomfort for residents. Winds are currently blowing from the west at a speed of 12 kilometers per hour.

However, there is some relief expected later in the day as sea breezes are likely to return in the evening hours, which may slightly reduce the intensity of the heat. Officials have also confirmed that “no rain is expected” in Karachi, keeping the weather dry and hot throughout the day.
