Film Producer R.B Choudary Passes Away In Road Accident
Acclaimed Tamil producer and actor Jiiva’s father, Ratanlal Bhagatram Choudary died in a tragic road accident near Udaipur on Tuesday on May 5 2026.
B Choudary’s hometown was Udaipur in Rajasthan. According to One India, RB Choudary had attended a close relative’s wedding in Lilamba village in Rajasthan, where the fatal accident occurred.
He was instantly taking to the nearest hospital, but he lost his life in undergoing treatment. His mortal remains are currently in Udaipur and will reportedly be brought to Chennai on May 6.
His last rites will be performed after his body is kept at his residence for friends and well-wishers to pay their final respects.
RB Choudary’s sons, Jiiva and Jithan Ramesh, along with his and Jithan Ramesh, along with his family members, are receiving condolences from across the film industry.
RB Choudary was known for producing films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi languages under his Super Good Films Banner. In a career spanning over four decades, he bankrolled 99 films, several of which turned out to be super hits. He received a name for presenting over 34 directors, including KS Ravikumar, Vikraman, S Ezhil, Rajakumaran, Sasi, and Ravi Maria.
Following the producer’s death news, a lot of well-known actors is in deep grief such as Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, and Chiranjeevi, have expressed their condolences.
Choudary was extensively esteemed for emerging new talent and playing a key role in the careers of numerous film industry professionals.
