Mohsin Naqvi Conveys Asim Munir’s Letter to Iran’s Top Leadership

Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said his visit to Tehran along with the message from Field Marshal Asim Munir for Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei about regional developments.

As per reports, during his visit to Iran on Sunday, Naqvi gave this statement through the Iranian news agency Tasnim.

He said the message and letter focused on ongoing developments and the wider situation in the region.

During his visit, Naqvi, met senior Iranian leaders to increase relations and lift support between Pakistan and Iran.

Prior in Tehran, he met Iranian Interior Minister Sikandar Momeni as part of wider diplomatic efforts to strengthen ongoing diplomatic engagement between both countries.

Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also is expected to hold meetings with Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and other senior Iranian officials during the visit, according to Iranian media.

The visit is taking place at a key moment, as Pakistan is helping in diplomatic efforts to ease tensions and encouraging Iran-US dialogue.
