Mahira Khan Condemns Brutal Attack on Quetta Doctor, Demands Justice

Mahira Khan a Pakistani actress, spoke about the acid attack on a Quetta hospital doctor and reacted strongly, by describing this incident as ‘barbaric’ and saying she is extremely shaken.

She took her Instagram, and posted a story in which she wrote a woman who went to the hospital to save lives was brutally attacked and she said she could not understand such violence.

The actress mentioned Dr Mah Noor Nasir as the victim and said the vicious attack deeply distressed her. She defined the attack as vicious, stating that the victim was nearly burned alive in an act of extreme cruelty.

Khan further said she was ‘shaking with anger’ and stressed that the victim should be given protection and justice. She also worried shared responsibility and commended men and women alike to speak up against such acts of violence.

The attack happened at Sandeman Provincial Hospital in Quetta, where a man threw acid on a female doctor and leaving her badly injured.

The doctor was quickly treated with first aid and later transferred to a private hospital. She was subsequently airlifted to Karachi for advanced medical care.
