Iranian Company Develops Rapid Nano Test for H. Pylori Detection

An Iranian knowledge-based company has developed a rapid nano-diagnostic kit designed to detect Helicobacter pylori, a major preventable cause of stomach cancer, with high accuracy and without the need for invasive medical procedures.

According to Iran’s Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council, the kit was developed by Zist Tashkhis Sanjeh and is based on Lateral Flow Assay (LFA) technology. Officials say the tool is designed to make early screening more accessible, faster, and cost-effective.

Helicobacter pylori is one of the most widespread bacterial infections globally, with experts estimating that more than half of the world’s population is exposed to it at some point in their lives. The bacterium is strongly associated with gastric and duodenal ulcers as well as stomach cancer, making early detection an important step in preventing long-term gastrointestinal disease.
