Kristen Stewart’s uncomfortable moment leaves fans divided

Kristen Stewart’s latest appearance at the Nouvelle Vagues Film Festival in Biarritz has sparked an unexpected debate online after a video of the actress interacting with a man during the event went viral.

In viral clip, to help the audience understand, a male host and translator accompanied Stewart with translating the French remarks into English. Reports claim the man was someone the actress already knew from the festival, rather than a stranger.

Many social media users suggested Stewart looked uncomfortable, with some claiming the man had invaded her personal space.

One viewer commented, “She’s clearly uncomfortable with the guy’s presence and the music’s all upbeat.”

Another went even further, writing, “Holy crap, how ridiculous, he totally groped her.”

However, not everyone saw the interaction the same way.

“She doesn’t seem uncomfortable at all,” one person argued.

Another commenter wrote, “You’re very strange people on here. He’s talking to her and she’s just getting comfortable.”

Apart from the discomfort, Stewart has been enjoying a new chapter at the French festival circuit

Stewart received an outburst of gratitude for her contribution in the Biarritz-based festival, when the whole internet just focused on the few seconds video clip.

At Nouvelle Vagues Film Festival, she appeared as and guest to focus the event on promoting emerging filmmakers and innovative storytelling. It’s a role Stewart is exclusively competent for stretched her career behind the camera and made her directorial debut with The Chronology of Water.
