Israel Says It Has Arrested Dual National on Alleged Iran Espionage Links

Israeli authorities have arrested a Tajik national who also holds Russian citizenship on allegations of cooperating with Iranian intelligence operatives. According to reports in Israeli media, prosecutors are preparing to file espionage-related charges against the suspect following his arrest last month.

Israeli security agencies, including the military, police, and internal security service Shin Bet, claimed that the individual had been in contact with Iranian intelligence officials since January. Authorities allege that during recent hostilities, he transmitted sensitive information related to missile impact sites and other strategic locations.

Officials further claimed that the suspect provided intelligence on areas within the occupied territories that were reportedly targeted during Iranian ballistic missile strikes. The case remains under investigation, and formal charges are expected to be announced by prosecutors in the coming days.
