Who Was Allah Rakha Pepsi? Veteran Pakistani Comedian Dies at 50
Prominent stage actor and comedian Allah Rakha who is known by his stage names Pepsi and Panipuri, has passed away at the age of 50.
According to reports, the widely recognized entertainer, while working on set in Lahore, the comedian suffered a cardiac arrest that proved fatal and become a reason of death on July 6, 2026.
The comedian funeral prayers, time and venue has not been announced.
The tragedy occurred unexpectedly during a live recording session for the popular digital program Public Demand Show.
Allah Rakha Pepsi was admired for his one-man comedy shows, stage performances and parody acts.
Allah Rakha Pepsi was widely respected throughout Pakistan’s theater and digital broadcast networks. He got a status for his versatility, particular in stand-up comedy, energetic physical performances, and mimicking well-known celebrities.
His celebrity mimicry, especially pop icon Michael Jackson, and he became widely popular by electrifying his stage performances earned him the title of Pakistan’s “Michael Jackson” among fans.
Fellow entertainer revealed that, Allah Rakha got the nickname “Pepsi” in the early days of his career after he was asked to bring Pepsi drinks for the crew. The nickname stayed with him and eventually became his stage identity.
Apart from television, he remained an active figure in Pakistan’s theatre industry.
