Rescue Operation Underway After Six-Year-Old Falls Into Open Well in Karachi

KARACHI: A rescue operation is on-going after a six-year-old boy accidently fell into an open hole in the Ghass Mandi area of Garden, Karachi. According to rescue officials at the incident, the child fell into an old, dry well estimated to be around 200 feet deep.

Water Rescue teams launched an operation to recover the child. Rescue personnel are using specialized equipment in an effort to safely reach the boy.

Rescue authorities identified the child as six-year-old Khalid, son of Junaid. The rescue operation continues, and officials have yet to confirm the child’s condition.
