Field Marshal Asim Munir Highlights Changing Nature of Warfare at NDU Address

ISLAMABAD: Field Marshal Asim Munir has emphasized the evolving nature of warfare and the need for strategic clarity with the geo-political situation emerging, During his address to officers graduating from the National Security and War Course at the National Defence University (NDU), according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

During his visit to NDU, the Field Marshal said Pakistan’s Armed Forces are reorganizing their operational effectiveness in line with changing and developing warfare trends. He highlighted the importance of adapting strategies to meet emerging security challenges and said NDU plays a key role in preparing future military leadership.

Field Marshal Asim Munir said hostile intelligence networks, terrorist organizations, and their facilitators would not be allowed to destabilize Pakistan. He stated that cross-border terrorism and the infrastructure supporting militant activities would be dealt with through state efforts, while urging young officers to uphold integrity, selfless service, and national loyalty. He added that wars are won through faith and unity rather than media narratives or political slogans.
