Iranian President Thanks PM Shehbaz Sharif for Attending Martyred Khamenei’s Funeral

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and a high-level Pakistani delegation for attending the funeral ceremonies of the late Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Pezeshkian thanked the Pakistani government and people for their sincere condolences and support, saying Iran would remember the gesture. He highlighted the longstanding ties between the Iranian and Pakistani nations, stating that the two countries have always supported each other.

The Iranian president said Martyred Ayatollah Khamenei considered the shared culture between Pakistan and Iran as a valuable heritage of both nations. He appreciated the participation of Pakistani officials in the ceremonies, describing it as a reflection of the close relationship between the two countries.
