Iranian Leaders Stress National Unity, Cite Internal Security Breach Behind Israeli Strikes

Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has emphasized the importance of national unity during the recent US and Israeli attacks on Iran, saying solidarity is essential for the country’s resistance efforts. He said unity is not only a moral obligation but also the fundamental condition for achieving victory, urging Iranians to follow the guidance of the Supreme Leader and maintain cohesion in both national resistance and state governance.
Calling on the public to remain united against external threats, Ghalibaf said preserving national solidarity is a shared responsibility and a key factor in safeguarding Iran’s security and independence. He stressed that adherence to the Supreme Leader’s directives was a national duty during the ongoing challenges facing the country.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in an interview with Turkish media, said Israeli attacks on Iran were made possible through the leakage of information from inside the country. He suggested that a security gap may still exist and alleged that Israeli agents knew Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s daily routine, including his presence at his office each morning. Araghchi also said the initial ceasefire with the United States had been approved by Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.
