Iranian President Says Agreement with US Protects National Interests

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that Iran’s national interests were fully protected in the agreement reached with the United States. He stated that Tehran did not compromise on any of its fundamental rights under the 14-point memorandum.
Pezeshkian emphasized that the agreement was not designed to provide unilateral benefits to Washington, adding that any approval or implementation of the deal would have to respect Iran’s interests and positions.
The Iranian president reiterated that Tehran remained committed to safeguarding its national rights while engaging in diplomatic efforts, stressing that no arrangement would be accepted if it placed Iran at a disadvantage.
