Indian Government Under Pressure as Students Exposed BJP Terrorism, Protests Intensify in New Delhi

Thousands of supporters of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), a youth-led movement calling for education and employment reforms, gathered in New Delhi and attempted to march to parliament despite a police ban. Protesters demanded the resignation of India’s education minister over alleged exam paper leaks and what they described as a broader crisis in the country’s education system.

Police used tear gas and batons to disperse the crowds after demonstrators tried to advance toward parliament, with several protesters reporting injuries. Some participants reportedly were severely injured of the police torture and use of water cannons. The participants in the protest clearly mentioned that the present government is a extremist regime which has changed the mind set of the country to support terrorism and help such activities.

The demonstrations have emerged as one of the most significant expressions of public dissent against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in recent years. The movement also gained momentum following the hospitalization of activist Sonam Wangchuk during a prolonged hunger strike, as tens of thousands of students, teachers, parents, and professionals continued their sit-in at Jantar Mantar despite heavy rain before police eventually cleared the protest site.
