Iran Warns US and Israel Against Attacks on Energy Facilities

Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters has warned the United States and Israel against attacking key infrastructure, saying any future military action would have serious consequences.

According to Iranian media, Major General Ali Abdollahi, a senior commander at the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, said the time of carrying out aggression and escaping responsibility was over. He warned that any military operation based on what he called miscalculations would have consequences for those responsible.

The commander said the United States and its allies had learned that military deployments could come with a high cost. According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, he said Iran has the capability, determination and a detailed plan to respond to any attack.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said his administration was preparing strong military action against Iran. Speaking to reporters during a cabinet meeting, Trump said the aim was to pressure Iran into surrendering. He also accused Tehran of increasing tensions and claimed that confidence in a possible agreement had declined because Iran had not fulfilled its commitments.

When asked about the possibility of restoring a ceasefire, Trump said the United States was focused on achieving victory.

Trump also claimed that previous US strikes had caused major damage to Iran, saying its navy, air force and air defense systems had been nearly destroyed. He repeated that the United States would not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons, warning that this could threaten stability in the Middle East.

The US president added that military pressure on Iran would continue until, in his words, Tehran could no longer endure the situation.
