Balochistan Residents Thank Security Forces After Mand Attack Foiled

MAND: Residents of Mand in Balochistan have expressed appreciation for security forces after an attack attributed by security sources to Fitna al-Hindustan was foiled in the area.

According to security sources, the attackers attempted to carry out an operation in Mand but were pushed back after security forces responded with the assistance of local residents.

The sources said the security response forced the attackers to retreat from the area.

Following the incident, local residents gathered around security personnel and expressed their appreciation for the forces’ role in preventing the attack.

Some residents also raised slogans in support of the Pakistan Army and said cooperation between communities and security forces was important for maintaining peace in the region.

The development comes amid continued counterterrorism operations in Balochistan. Pakistani authorities have reported several recent operations against groups they describe as Fitna al-Hindustan, including operations in which security forces killed suspected militants.

Security operations against militant groups remain ongoing across parts of the province.
