Afridi to get image rights despite refusing to play The Hundred
Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will get handsome amount despite refusing to play in The Hundred League.
According to the British media, Shaheen Afridi will be paid more than Rs1.7 million by the management of The Hundred League as he refused to play in the league for the sake of Global T20 League.
Afridi will get £5,000 in image rights as players who sign for the tournament get 5 per cent of their contract in exchange for image rights.
British media said that in The Hundred League, Welsh Fire retained Shaheen Afridi for 100,000 pounds and later added Matt Henry as Shaheen’s replacement.
New Zealand fast bowler Matt Henry will not get image rights money after Shaheen’s departure.
