Alia Bhatt reveals why did she face criticism in Bollywood

Bollywood star Alia Bhatt said that after entering Bollywood, she faced criticism on her looks and weight.

In an interview to Indian TV channel, the popular Bollywood actress said that when she started acting, she was fat and her colour and appearance were not that of heroines. Before entering Bollywood, I was content with myself, but after I started acting, things changed for me, Alia said.

The actress revealed that in the early stages of her career, she was subjected to criticism and ridicule based on her appearance. She said that despite losing weight, she is still cautious about her weight and struggle to keep it under control. My friends tell me to stop dieting now and enjoy life, but I want to keep myself up to the demands of Bollywood, the actress said.

Alia Bhatt has shown the essence of acting in several hit films including Gangubai Kathiawadi and Highway and has won awards for her excellent acting.
