Apple to walk on Android’s path for iPhone 16

It looks like Apple might have swallowed the pill and decided to follow Android’s path for new iPhone 16 series.

The new iPhone 16 would pack software tweaks which are similar to Android. The company has already shared a glimpse into the future with iOS18.

The new iOS allows users to arrange icons on home screen, which Android users are familiar with for decades.  Moreover, it’s icon customization strongly resembles Android’s Material You design idea.

Similarly, iOS18 introduced the Control Center customization, lock screen shortcut customization, and even RCS, which debut in Android years ago and we can say that they are much more efficient and effective now.

A dedicated Game Mode (after years and years of boasting how iPhones don’t need one), it is finally appearing. And guess what, that is also inspired from Android, which have a dedicated gaming mode to enhance user experience.

Moreover, Apple has been forced into ditching its lighting port connector with the USB-C.

The AI, does it ring any bell? Yes, it is finally arriving in an iPhone. But, it won’t be call traditional Artificial Intelligence, it is being dubbed as Apple Intelligence.

It would offer some similar features or Galaxy AI, like Image Playground, generating images from visual or text prompts, Magic Eraser, and much more but the Apple way.

So, it is fair to call the iPhone 16 series will be the most Android Apple series ever, only time will tell.
