Azam Khan’s Kakul training video goes viral

Azam Khan has been heavily criticized for his fitness throughout his career, however, the wicketkeeper has been doing his best to resolve that issue. 

However, he proved his worth behind the stumps during the HBL Pakistan Super League season nine for champions Islamabad United. He was declared the best wicketkeeper, despite having stiff competition with regular Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan and others.

Currently, he is with the Pakistan probables for the upcoming World Cup participating in a fitness camp at a military base in Kakul, Abbottabad.

He was criticized again when he failed to complete the first drill of a 2km run. However, since then he never looked back and kept of improving his fitness.

Recently, a video of his drill, shared on the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) social media, went viral. In the video, he can be seen performing different tasks.

Most importantly, when he completed the task, the way Pakistan players celebrated was worth watching.
