“Badshah” up for sale for Rs3 million

Drawing attention of hundreds of people, white-coloured “Badshah” is up for sale in Hyderabad ahead of Eidul Azha.

Buyers and animal lovers from far fling areas are visiting Phuleli to have a glimpse of the beautiful goat. A beautiful stage decorated with colorful bulbs and flowers has been built for Badshah.

The owner of Badshah, Muhammad Farooq, claims that the goat weighs about six maunds and demands Rs3 million for it.

People especially children are seen taking selfies with Badshah.

Meanwhile, Butchers have released the rate list for slaughtering sacrificial animals on Eidul Azha.

According to Meat Merchants Association’s Nadeem Qureshi, on the first day of Eidul Azha, the slaughter rate of a heifer will be Rs20, 000, Rs10,000 for a goat while Rs40,000 for a camel.

Apart from this, the association added that on the second and third day of the Festival of the Sacrifice, the rates of slaughtering sacrificial animals would almost be half.

It should be noted that as soon as the Eidul Azha comes, the charges of the butchers also go high.

Meanwhile, buyers from various parts of the port city are visiting cattle market located on Northern Bypass as the Eidul Azha approaches.

The Asia’s largest cattle market is showcasing sacrificial animals brought from various parts of the country including Punjab, Sindh, KP and Balochistan.

The cattle market management said that specially equipped sheds are being installed at the VIP blocks of the market, where high-breed cattle has also started arriving.
