Bangladesh on Wednesday registered a historic clean sweep for the first time against Pakistan in a Test series.

The visitors won the second Test of the two-match series by six wickets with experienced duo Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan unbeaten at the crease.

Bangladesh achieved the 185-run target after lunch on day five in Rawalpindi.

The visitors inched their way to the target 25 minutes before tea on the fifth day to complete a 2-0 series sweep.

Earlier, Bangladesh resumed their innings at 42-0 in pursuit of their 185-run target. Pakistan got the first breakthrough when Mir Hamza bowled Hasan with a delivery that moved away. Later, pace bowler Khurram Shahzad got the wicket of Shadman Islam who miscued a drive, chipping to Shan at mid-off.
