Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Tuesday following a decline in the international market. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold fell by Rs2,500 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs434,963.
The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs2,143 and was sold at Rs372,887.
On Monday, gold prices had increased by Rs2,700 per tola, reaching Rs446,862.
In the international market, the price of gold dropped by $25 to $4,125 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Silver prices also went down on Tuesday. The price of silver fell by Rs120 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs6,559 per tola.
