Chef Naheed Ansari passes away

Renowned chef Naheed Ansari aka ‘Naheed Apa’ passed away on Friday following a brave battle with cancer.

The chef dedicated over 35 years of her life to cooking, leaving an indelible mark on the culinary landscape.

Her cooking shows were not just popular in Pakistan but also gained admiration across the county.

Sidra Iqbal, a prominent TV host, expressed deep sorrow at Naheed Ansari’s demise.

“Naheed Apa was a true pioneer and an institution in her rite. Her experience, recipes and hacks benefitted millions. She was rightly dubbed as the Martha Stewart of Pakistan with her brilliant focus on home and hospitality. I personally looked up to her for guidance and she was always wonderful and kind,” she wrote on Instagram.
