COAS Army Chief Asim Munir welcomes Imam-e-Kaaba

Rawalpindi ; Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir met Imam Kaaba Sheikh Saleh bin Abdullah bin Muhammad Hameed.

According to the Public Relations Department of Pakistan Army ISPR, issues of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting held at GHQ.

According to ISPR, the Army Chief said on this occasion that the visit of Imam Kaaba is a matter of honor for the people of Pakistan. Muslims around the world have great devotion to the Haram Sharif.

The Army Chief said that Muslims all over the world have immense respect for the custodians of the Holy Haram.

Speaking on this occasion, Imam Kaaba said that Islam is a religion of peace and brotherhood. There is no room for misinterpretation of Islam.

According to ISPR, the Army Chief said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have ideal historical, religious and cultural relations.

He said that Pakistanis have a unique respect for Saudi Arabia in their hearts. The Army Chief said that the two brotherly countries have strong strategic relations based on unity.
