Coronavirus claims over 18000 lives in over 190 countries.

Over eighteen thousand people have died so far around the world from the COVID-19 outbreak.


There are currently 422,959 confirmed cases in 197 countries and territories.

According to Radio Pakistan, WHO announced the United States could soon become the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic.

The World Health Organization (WHO) spokeswoman Margaret Harris said at a news conference in Geneva we are now seeing a very large acceleration in cases in the U.S.

Meanwhile, China has reported improvements with just four locally transmitted cases in a single day.

The global death toll from Coronavirus has reached 18600 while confirmed infection cases have risen to more than 418000.

China ends lockdown

China has announced to lift the lockdown in Wuhan, the city at the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, on 8th of the next month.

Provincial authorities announced that lockdown measures will be lifted today in other cities of the Hubei province also.

The new cases in Hubei province have dropped to zero for five consecutive days.
